Risk Disclosure

UPDATED ON OCTOBER 7, 2025

In line with evolving European regulations (including the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, MiCA), providers of crypto services are obliged to clearly inform users about volatility, potential financial loss, applicable fees, and the absence of insurance protection. Please read these risks carefully before using Lunu's exchange and custody services, whether you are a private or business client.

Lunu provides the following risk disclosures:

Volatility Risk: Digital assets and cryptocurrencies are subject to extreme price volatility. Their value can rise or fall sharply within short periods, and you may lose a substantial part—or even the entirety—of your investment. Past price movements do not predict future performance. You should only invest money you are prepared to lose, as there is no guarantee of profit or preservation of value.

Security and Operational Risks: Using Lunu's services involves cybersecurity and operational risks. Despite strong protections, digital platforms remain vulnerable to hacking, theft, unauthorized access, and data breaches, which could result in the loss of your assets. Technical issues, such as outages, network failures, or system maintenance, may delay or block access to your assets or transactions. Lunu cannot ensure uninterrupted or error-free operations.

You are also responsible for safeguarding your own access credentials, such as private keys, passwords, and authentication devices. Mismanagement, loss, or theft of these credentials can lead to irreversible loss of assets.

Costs, Charges & Fees: Using Lunu's services may involve fees, including but not limited to service fees, transaction or network ("gas") fees, custody charges, and withdrawal fees. These costs can affect the overall outcome of your transactions and the net return on your investment. All applicable charges are disclosed transparently prior to or at the time of transaction.

Regulatory Risk: The regulatory framework for crypto-assets is developing and subject to change. Laws and their interpretations may shift without notice, potentially affecting the legality, scope, or conditions of Lunu's services and of specific digital assets. For example, the implementation of MiCA or other regulatory changes could introduce new requirements, limit available services, or prohibit certain activities. Such developments may lead to service adjustments, additional obligations for users, or in some cases, suspension or termination of services in particular jurisdictions.

Lunu operates in compliance with applicable European requirements for crypto-asset service providers. Registration or authorization as a crypto-asset service provider primarily relates to anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance and does not provide users with financial oversight or risk protection.

Fair, Clear, and Non-Misleading Information: All information, communications, and marketing materials provided by Lunu are designed to be fair, clear, and not misleading. Any educational or promotional content is provided for general informational purposes only.

Competence of Staff: Lunu ensures that personnel involved in providing information about its services possess appropriate knowledge and competence in crypto-assets and related risks, as required under MiCA. Staff undergo training to ensure that information shared with clients is accurate, understandable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

No Investment Advice: Lunu acts solely as a service provider and does not offer investment or financial advice. Any information made available by Lunu—including prices, market data, or educational materials—is for informational purposes only and should not be considered investment guidance or a recommendation. Lunu does not evaluate whether specific transactions or assets are suitable for your personal situation, nor are providers currently obliged under crypto regulations to perform such suitability checks. You remain fully responsible for your investment decisions. If you are uncertain about trading or investing in digital assets, you should seek advice from a qualified financial professional.
