La demande a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9e en vertu du Securities Act de 1933 et du Investment Company Act de 1940. Plusieurs autres soci\u00e9t\u00e9s financi\u00e8res, dont Volatility Shares, Bitwise, ProShares, VanEck, Roundhill et Valkyrie Investments, ont \u00e9galement r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9pos\u00e9 des demandes d&rsquo;ETF sur les contrats \u00e0 terme Ethereum. La semaine derni\u00e8re, Hashdex de Nasdaq s&rsquo;est \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 dans la course avec son propre ETF Ethereum. Cependant, la SEC n&rsquo;a pas encore approuv\u00e9 de produits de crypto-\u00e9change au comptant, invoquant des pr\u00e9occupations concernant la manipulation du march\u00e9 et la volatilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un point de vue personnel sur la question<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De mon point de vue, la d\u00e9marche de Grayscale de d\u00e9poser une demande d&rsquo;ETF sur les contrats \u00e0 terme Ethereum est un risque calcul\u00e9 mais qui pourrait rapporter gros. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 capitalise sur les approbations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de la SEC pour les ETF sur les contrats \u00e0 terme Bitcoin, ce qui cr\u00e9e un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent qui pourrait jouer en sa faveur. D&rsquo;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, le march\u00e9 des crypto est notoirement volatile et la SEC a \u00e9t\u00e9 prudente dans son approche de l&rsquo;approbation de nouveaux produits financiers li\u00e9s \u00e0 celui-ci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avantages :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La r\u00e9putation \u00e9tablie de Grayscale pourrait conf\u00e9rer une cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 au nouvel ETF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les approbations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de la SEC pour les ETF sur les contrats \u00e0 terme Bitcoin pourraient cr\u00e9er un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent favorable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inconv\u00e9nients :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La position prudente de la SEC \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard des produits financiers li\u00e9s aux crypto pourrait retarder voire emp\u00eacher l&rsquo;approbation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La volatilit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 pourrait avoir un impact n\u00e9gatif sur les performances de l&rsquo;ETF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon moi, le d\u00e9p\u00f4t de Grayscale pour un nouvel ETF sur les contrats \u00e0 terme Ethereum est une d\u00e9marche audacieuse sur un march\u00e9 qui cherche encore \u00e0 se r\u00e9glementer. Que la SEC approuve ou non ce nouveau produit financier, le d\u00e9p\u00f4t lui-m\u00eame t\u00e9moigne de l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant et de l&rsquo;investissement dans l&rsquo;espace des crypto.
